Thanks to the Ark Engine, HarmonyOS Next is up to 30% smoother to use and battery usage can be increased up to 1 hour compared to using the previous generation operating system. This operating system also has several artificial intelligence (AI) features built based on the Pangu model.
In addition, the device can do photo editing, article summarization, writing assistance and features like Circle to Search. Also provided is the feature of sharing files and personal information by touching the top of two Huawei devices. At this time HarmonyOS Next is only launched for Chinese devices with plans to offer it to other markets.
So far, there are 10,000 apps and services that support HarmonyOS Next. A high volume of applications is necessary because installing Android applications as soon as possible on devices with EMUI is no longer possible.
