If you are a fan of HUAWEI smartphones, this news might excite you. Recently, rumour suggested HUAWEI is working on a new patent for its Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, the patent comes with the model number (CN117058725A). It is also titled “Ultrasonic fingerprint recognition module, system and electronic device”. If everything goes well, we might get improved fingerprint identification accuracy.
Interestingly, HUAWEI is not the first company to come up with this idea. Previously, Samsung’s Galaxy S10 was the first flagship smartphone to feature the sensor. The patent for the Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is also limited by Qualcomm. If HUAWEI succeeds with this patent, they won’t have to rely on the same designs used by other brands smartphones.
We have yet to confirm other details on this patent or if it will arrive in Malaysia soon. However, it will be interesting to see how Malaysians will benefit from it. At this point, we should wait for further confirmation from HUAWEI.
