As we’ve alluded to previously, HUAWEI today launched its latest mid-range offering in China, the HUAWEI nova 11 series. Comprising the nova 11, nova 11 Pro and nova 11 Ultra, read on to find out about the lineup in depth.
One thing that’s shared across all three variants is satellite communication, which is the first to be present in a mid-range device. All three models also feature XD Portrait camera technology for the front and rear image sensors which greatly improves portrait photography.
According to HUAWEI China, the entry-level nova 11 features a 6.7-inch 120Hz flat OLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and is protected by Kunlun glass. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, up to 512GB storage and features a 4500mAh battery with support for 66W charging.
As for imaging, the nova 11 has a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide dual-camera setup at its rear and a 60MP selfie camera at the front.
Next up, the nova 11 Pro packs a 6.78-inch 120Hz curved OLED screen with a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels and is protected by Kunlun glass. Under the hood, it’s also powered by the Snapdraogn 778G SoC. up to 512GB of storage and features a 4500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Camera-wise, the nova 11 Pro sports a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide dual-camera setup at its rear and a 60MP main + 8MP portrait dual camera at the front.
Finally, the top ranging nova 11 Ultra sports a 6.78-inch 120Hz curved OLED panel with a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels and is protected by Kunlun Glass. Under the hood, the same Snapdragon 778G SoC is still present, with up to 512GB storage and features a 4500mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
The nova 11 Ultra packs a variable aperture lens on its cameras, the first for a mid-range device. At the rear, there’s a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth triple-camera setup, while the front has a 60MP main + 8MP portrait dual-camera setup.
The vanilla and Pro variants are offered in Black, Gold, White and Bright Green, while the nova Ultra configuration is offered in Black and Bright Green with a leather-like texture. Here are the prices for all three models in China:
- nova 11 starts from CNY2499 or ~RM1608
- nova 11 Pro starts from CNY3449 or ~RM2220
- nova 11 Ultra starts from CNY4449 or ~RM2864
