HUAWEI nova 8 SE 4G release: Kirin 710A, 66W charging and quad-camera setup at ~RM1,392

Although we're already in the nova 9 era, it seems like HUAWEI is not letting go of the nova 8 series yet by launching the nova 8 SE 4G today. It's also a device that uses a Kirin chipset, which we haven't heard of for a while. Now, let's find out the other tech specs brought by the device!

The nova 8 SE 4G gets powered by the Kirin 710A SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also sports a 6.5-inch OLED screen of FullHD resolution with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a waterdrop notch on top for a 16MP camera. Under the hood, it packs a 3,800mAh that supports quite a high fast charging capacity at 66W.

Furthermore, the nova 8 SE 4G comes with a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone is currently only available in China so that it undoubtedly runs the HarmonyOS 2. For the price, the device is selling at 2,099 Yuan (~RM1,392), with four colour options - Sky Gradient, Silver, Blue, and Black.
