HUAWEI nova Y73 release - 6620mAh battery, 90Hz LCD and 50MP main camera

HUAWEI has quietly listed a new smartphone on its global website, the HUAWEI nova Y73. No price has been unveiled just yet, but the full specs and features have been revealed, so read on to learn more. 

The SoC powering the device wasn’t expressly mentioned, but it is believed to be he in-house Kirin 710A chipset, which is paired with 8GB RAM and 125/256GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 6620mAh cell, which supports 40W charging via the USB-C port.

Meanwhile, the display is a 6.67-inch 90Hz LCD with an HD+ resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with a secondary sensor. 

Other notable specs include up to 4G connectivity, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, a programmable Enjoy X Key on the left-hand side, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, an IP64 rating, an IR blaster and colour options of either Blue or Black.
