HUAWEI has a diverse consumer electronics portfolio but desktop PCs are nowhere to be found in that list. Now, the company might have finally decided to launch their first desktop PC as one with Kunpeng 920 processor is rumoured to be listed on HUAWEI Mall soon.

The news came as a well-known Weibo user found out that multiple listings for a new desktop PC were listed under the model name of “Yellow River K680 G1.” To recap, the Kunpeng 920 processor is a proprietary chip made by Huawei. It is built on the 7nm process and based on the ARM architecture that was launched back in 2019.

Unfortunately, it looks like the leaked tech specs of this desktop PC might not be appealing to some of you. Other than the Kunpeng 920 processor, there could be 8GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM and 256GB of SDD storage coming along with it. The PC might also sports an AMD Radeon R7 430 graphics card and arrives with a DVD drive, keyboard and mouse as well. Last but not least, the device is said to have a 180W power supply unit and runs the Kylin operating system. This is just the beginning and HUAWEI could launch beefier units in the future.
