If you are looking for a gift this Christmas, you might want to consider these phones. Today, HUAWEI confirmed on Weibo via GizmoChina that the HUAWEI Nova 12 series will launch on 26 December 2023. So, what should you know about it?
Based on the official teaser, the HUAWEI Nova 12 series could feature the signature blue variant. Notably, the Nova 12 series could feature variants such as the Nova 12 Lite, the Nova 12, the Nova 12 Pro, and the Nova 12 Ultra. Rumour says the Nova 12 Lite (or Vitality Edition) could sport a 60MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary camera, and an OLED panel integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
In addition, it could also come in black and white colours too. We have yet to confirm if the Nova 12 series will be a 5G or a 4G series. However, it is heavily rumoured the Nova 12 will be a 4G phone with Snapdragon 778G 4G SoC and supports 66W fast charging.
Moreover, the rumour mentioned the Nova 12 Pro and 12 Ultra could be 5G devices. These phones might run a Kirin 9000s chipset, 1.5K resolution and support 100W charging. Camera-wise, these phones could sport a 50MP main camera with OIS, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom support.
There is no news on the Malaysia release date. However, we could expect the Nova 12 series to arrive a few weeks after its release in China.
