Steam has announced Halo: Reach will be the first game from the Halo franchise to be released for players who pre-order the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on its platform. This is also the first time that most of these console games from the franchise are coming to PC since the release Halo 2 15 years ago.

The collection offers you the PC experience of the classic games and all of them will be supporting 4K, 144Hz display, and HDR by the time of their release. 343 Industries has also launched a test flight program for the Halo Insiders to test run the game and provide feedback for them to identify the top issues.

Halo: Reach will be in the front line to be released from the franchise. The game will be available for those who pre-ordered the collection on 3 December 2019. The rest will be released throughout next year according to the chronological order of the franchise. The list is as follows: Halo: CE Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Campaign, and Halo 4. Sadly, Halo 5 is not included in the collection.
