By now, you should have learned that the news regarding the KL Sentral being quarantined and people being infected by the COVID-19 is fake. Thanks to WhatsApp and Twitter, the news spread fast and it surely caused some panic there. But Malaysia is not the only country in the world experiencing that, so to tackle misinformation being spread around, a company came up with a chatbot called "nCov helpdesk" to solve this.

Designed and programmed by Haptik, one of the largest Conversational AI companies from India, they are offering every WhatsApp user access to use nCov helpdesk for free. How this works is that it serves as a chatbot and gives you any information about the virus via machine learning and analyse the query. According to Aakrit Vasih, co-founder and CEO of Haptik, all the information is provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) so it's pretty reliable.

I tried out the chatbot myself and it is legit. If you would like to give it a try, you can send a WhatsApp message to the number +91 93213 98773 or click on the web link here: to directly open the contact in WhatsApp. It works on the desktop version too so that's nice.

Haptik encourages every WhatsApp user to share this chatbot so that more people can learn better about the virus. So let's be responsible citizens and not share half-truth information! Stay tuned for more cool tech news at TechNave.com.
