Have trouble with fact-checking? Google it with Bard

You might hear of Bard before. In case you didn’t know, think of it as Google’s version of ChatGPT. That said, the Bard feature is now compatible with your Google apps and services.

For your information, Google launched its Bard Extensions in English. Thanks to this feature, Bard Extensions can show you relevant information from your most used Google tools. That includes Gmail, Docs, Drive, Google Maps, YouTube, and Google Flights and hotels. For instance, if you plan to go on a holiday with your friends, you can ask Bard to grab the dates that work for everyone from Gmail and look up real-time flight and hotel information.

On top of that, Google made it easier for you to fact-check things thanks to Bard’s “Google It” button. By clicking on the “G” icon, Bard will determine whether there is content across the web to prove its claim or truthfulness. Plus, you can click on the highlighted phrases and learn more about the supporting or contradicting information found by Search.

Moreover, you can share your Bard Chat with your friends through a public link. With this feature, you can either start a new conversation, continue the conversation, or ask Bard more questions on the subject. Thanks to the PaLM 2 model, you can also upload images with Lens, get Search images in responses, and modify Bard’s responses — to more than 40 languages.
