For those who have been listening to really loud music through your personal audio devices, you might want to check out this new app developed by the World Health Organization (WHO). In collaboration with several doctors, the organization has launched an app that will help you to detect hearing loss so that you can go get a diagnosis at an early stage.

The app is called HearWHO and it is said to facilitate hearing checks for those who feel like they might be losing hearing. Other than that, the app will also be offering a personalized track record for you to keep track of your hearing status over time.

HearWHO is recommended for those who “often listen to loud music, work in noisy places, use medicines that are harmful to hearing, or who are above 60 years old”. The app can also be trusted as it is a product from several professionals in the field, in case you’re thinking this is just some bluffing apps. It is recommended to be used by health workers as well in the community of hearing loss before referring them to carry out diagnostics.

The app can be downloaded now on App Store and Google Play. Let us know whether you guys find this app helpful or not on our Facebook page. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more cool tech updates.
