Like the rest of the telcos, Celcom also announced that it has subscribed to Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB)'s 5G single wholesale network. Starting from 1 November 2022, Celcom customers, including Celcom Business customers, who have 5G-enabled devices and are subscribed to selected Celcom postpaid and prepaid plans, will automatically be able to access 5G network services within 5G coverage areas.
With that in mind, Celcom will waive the 5G access fee for customers to enjoy 5G services per their internet quota from their existing plans, until 31 December 2022. Celcom customers with 5G-enabled devices will also enjoy various 5G Virtual Reality content and 5G roaming services in 14 countries.
Customers subscribed to these selected Celcom plans will be able to enjoy FREE 5G access:
Postpaid:

- Celcom MEGA Lightning 98
- Celcom MEGA Lightning 128
- Celcom MEGA Lightning 158
- Celcom MEGA Lightning 188
- Celcom Xpax Postpaid 40
- Celcom Xpax Postpaid 60
Prepaid:
- Celcom Xpax prepaid 35 (30GB high-speed)
- Celcom Xpax prepaid 45 (40GB high-speed)
