Xiaomi announced a shift in strategy for its devices’ software, whereby starting with the Xiaomi 14 series, they will run on HyperOS. Now, more details of its global rollout have been revealed, specifically of the devices that will be getting HyperOS and the timeline.
According to GSMChina, the HyperOS Global will roll out to users starting in Q1 2024. Furthermore, 9 Xiaomi models will be getting the new OS first globally, 8 of which are smartphones and 1 is a tablet.
Here’s the list of devices and the HyperOS version they’ll be getting:
- Xiaomi 13: OS1.0.0.3.UMCMIXM
- Xiaomi 13 Pro: OS1.0.0.3.UMBMIXM
- Xiaomi 13 Ultra:OS1.0.0.3.UMAMIXM
- Xiaomi 13T: OS1.0.0.1.UMFMIXM
- Xiaomi 13T Pro: OS1.0.0.1.UMLMIXM
- Xiaomi 12T Pro: OS1.0.0.2.ULFEUXM
- Xiaomi 12T: OS1.0.0.3.ULQMIXM
- Xiaomi 11T: OS1.0.0.2.UKWMIXM
- Xiaomi Pad 6: OS1.0.0.2.UMZMIXM
This also means that devices under Xiaomi’s subsidiaries such as Redmi and POCO may be getting HyperOS slightly later. Well, better late than never!
