
As we look forward to the end of the year, TNG Digital is sending out another round of reminders to all TNG eWallet users who have yet to verify their accounts. Users who have already verified their accounts are not required to take any further action.
According to the company, 22 million TNG eWallet users have already completed their account verification but there are still 8 million who haven't done so. To recap, having an eKYC account verification helps secure your account by reducing risks such as fraud, unauthorised access, as well as mule accounts. Additionally, verified accounts can also access Money-Back Guarantee coverage and all eWallet features.
The company has already sent out a pop-up message to prompt them to verify their accounts. Otherwise, the TNG eWallet users won't be able to proceed using the app until the process is completed. Not only that, only certain eWallet features can be used and accounts that remain unverified after a few months will eventually be locked.
To verify your account through eKYC, you can just simply follow the steps shown in the image above. Users can verify their account by uploading a photo of their ID card, such as a MyKad or MyTentera, and taking a selfie for facial recognition.
