As March comes to an end, ASUS Malaysia have just announced a new ASUS Perfect Warranty for their customers. You know what's the best part? Those who purchase and activated their ASUS laptop in 2019 and 2020 will be eligible for the warranty without additional charges! But before you get too excited, here's how the ASUS Perfect Warranty works.
As mentioned, customers who bought an ASUS consumer or gaming laptop automatically qualify for the 2-year global warranty but it is only applicable for any damage that is not induced by customers. So to solve this issue, the ASUS Perfect Warranty was introduced and serves as an exclusive warranty service from the company for a one-time usage during the first year. It should be noted that ASUS will bear 80% of the total repair cost for - spill damage, electrical surge damage, or drop and accidental breakage. As for the rest of the 20%, the customer will have to take care of that.
At the moment, this warranty is only for Malaysians and Bruneians. It should be noted that the products must be purchased within Malaysia and Brunei as well so you can show the staff at an authorized ASUS Service Centre the receipt.
