Yesterday, Alliance Bank Malaysia just launched its first Visa Virtual Credit Card. This is the first in Malaysia and to combat financial fraud, the virtual credit cards will come with dynamic numbers as well. Here's everything you need to know about the features, benefits and applying it online.
Alliance Bank's first Visa virtual credit card is available on the Alliance Online mobile app (via the Apple App and Google Play Store), which serves as a secured payment tool online. Customers applying for it can get a few rewards, such as Bonus Points (8x) with online shopping transactions and eWallet top-ups and no annual fees. The Bonus Points will never expire as well.

In terms of features, we mentioned that Visa Virtual Credit Card comes with dynamic numbers. What this means is that the 16-digit number can be randomly generated when you make a payment, which is valid for 30 minutes. On top of that, you can choose to freeze, unfreeze or delete your virtual cards at any time.
Of course, you can also make online payments via DuitNow at selected merchants as well as pay your bills with JomPay. Repayment is also available with a 9.88% p.a., with either 12, 24 or 36 fixed instalments. To apply for the Visa Virtual Credit Card, you just need to tap on "Apply for Virtual Card" on the app and then upload the required documents.
