Just last night, YES 5G just announced that everyone in Malaysia can now claim their first YES FT5G Discover SIM Pack for free. How does that work and where do you sign up for it? Read on below to find out more.
To get yourself a free SIM Pack, you just have to visit the registration page right over here. As a refresher, the YES FT5G Discover Plan features free unlimited 5G data, 10GB 4G data, free unlimited network calls and SMS to YES numbers. Of course, 5G is only available within selected coverage areas in Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur.
While filling in your personal details, you will also come across a list of devices eligible for 5G. Unfortunately and ironically, none of the iPhone or Samsung Galaxy devices is on the list at all. Despite that, you may also choose "I do not have a 5G Phone" to get a free SIM Pack. Click "Review & Order" to proceed after you're done.
This free SIM Pack giveaway will only last until 14 February 2022 and only the first 2 million customers are eligible. Do also keep note that unlimited 5G is available until 31 March 2022 before DNB finalises its single wholesale deal for the telcos.
