The PADU launching ceremony will take place by the end of the day later (2 January) and on the Ministry of Economy's Twitter X page, there are steps for Malaysias on how to redeem the free Touch n' Go NFC card. Read on below on how to do so:
On the tweet post, you will have to wait for the PADU system to go online after the inauguration session of the YAB Prime Minister at noon on 2 January 2024. After that, you can register your information in the system through your device or at the PADU counter located just outside the Dewan Perdana, Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC).
If you are at the location, you must show proof of your PADU registration to the staff. Once proven, you can then receive your free Touch n' Go NFC card. Do note that only 3000 participants who register are eligible for it. If you register through your phone, you must still redeem the NFC card at the said location.
The counter will be open until 5 PM today. And since only 3000 can be redeemed, this is based on a first come first serve basis, while stocks last.
