As many of you already know, Sunway has introduced a new integrated license plate recognition system and although it's not officially launched yet, the system will be online in the first quarter of 2020 at Sunway City first. It will be Malaysia's first smart parking system, but which e-wallet payment can it support and how do you register? We got you covered.
First, you will need to download the Sunway Pyramid app from the Apple App and Google Play Store, or just simply visit the website here to get your car plate number registered (just follow the steps), as well as attaching it to a selected e-wallet for the payment. There are various e-wallets that you can add to your profile - GrabPay, Boost, WeChat Pay, Alipay, Touch N’ Go Digital, and Maybank QR alongside credit partners MasterCard, Visa, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, and MyDebit.
If using e-wallet is too much work for you or the internet happens to be down, you can still use their Touch ‘n’ Go card or through the auto payment system for this period to allow time for adoption. On top of that, anyone who registers their car plate numbers during the pre-registration period (link here) will have a chance to enjoy one-time free parking next year. Sweet, right? But it's on a limited time only so better get yourself registered as soon as possible.
Sunway City car parks will include Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa, Sunway Pyramid Hotel, Sunway Clio Hotel, Menara Sunway, and The Pinnacle Sunway.
