Here's how you can move WhatsApp chats and other apps to Telegram

Just recently, Telegram just announced that they now allow users to seamlessly import chats from other platforms such as WhatsApp, Line, KakaoTalk, and more. In order to do so, you may head over to any of the instant messaging app you’re using and select the export chat option.

If you're using WhatsApp on iOS, just go to the Contact Info or Group Info page setting then find Export Chat. Make sure both apps are using the latest version and you should see the Telegram icon in the Share menu. You can also just swipe left on a chat straight away and choose Export Chat. If you're using Android, go to More -> Export Chat and choose Telegram as well.

The export and import process only takes a few minutes on the same day. Telegram also said the original timestamp is included and all members of the chat will see it. With that said, what are your thoughts on Telegram having the ability to import chats from other instant messaging platforms?
