Today, Apple's latest iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are now available to download and install. As usual, if you own an iPhone or iPad that are eligible for the upgrade, you may head over to the Settings > General > Software Update to get started.
To recap the features on both iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, both operating systems have some of the same features. For example, FaceTime will have some audio and video enhancements that include spatial audio and Portrait mode. The Shared with You feature is also on board but it's not the same as SharePlay as it has been delayed until further notice.
Moreover, the notification UI has a new makeover design whereby a new summary notification will pop up to let you catch up on what you missed. Live Text on your camera will be activated, allowing the device to detect texts on photos and search for them online. Lastly, it's said that you will have more control over your data with an improved privacy control in Siri and Mail.
