Here’s your first look at realme’s 300W smartphone charging technology

Previously, we shared how realme will be officially unveiling its new 300W wired smartphone charging technology on 14 August. Well, we don’t have to wait long to see it in action, as footage of the company’s VP and CMO showcasing the tech has been leaked online. 

Thanks to the good folks at 91mobiles and OnLeaks, you can watch the video here. In the video, the realme executive shows off the superfast tech charging an undisclosed smartphone while a timer on another smartphone on his right keeps track of how long it takes to charge the aforementioned smartphone fully.

While the video didn’t fully show the smartphone fully charging to 100 per cent, it did show that the device went from 0 to 17 per cent in just 35 seconds. Damn!

Of course, we just have to wait until 14 August to know the full details and whether the tech will actually be featured in a commercial smartphone. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
