The Redmi Pad 2 has been in the rumour mills for a while thanks to its appearance on various certification and benchmark listings. One recent certification showed an actual photo of the upcoming tablet, which may well be our first official look at the device.
Spotted by The TechOutlook, the photo is from South Korea’s Safety certification body which approved the tablet for launch in the country. In the listing, the Pad 2 is given the model number 23073RPBFL and reveals a few of the tablet’s specs.
In the photo, the front of the tablet can be seen alongside an L metal ruler to show its dimensions. Accordingly, the dimensions are 10.5 x 7 inches.
Based on the certification and previous listings of the Pad 2, the device will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 13, presumably via MIUI 14.
While no launch date was announced by Redmi just yet, the Pad 2 is expected to be released as early as next month. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and for more trending tech news.
