In November 2023, Honor launched the Honor 100 series in China. The series' two phones offered great designs and decent specs at a relatively affordable price but were never released in Malaysia. Would the upcoming Honor 200 series make its way here?

Indeed, it's only been six months, but the Honor 100 series already has a successor. Honor has announced that the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro will launch on 27 March 2024. The two models will be available in four colours: Black, green, pink, and white. Design-wise, both models will look similar to the Honor 100 Pro, which has an oval-shaped rear camera module featuring three cameras.

As for the specs, the Honor 200 series smartphones will sport a 50MP 1/1.3-inch main camera with OIS and f/1.9 aperture. It'll also have a telephoto camera that supports 50x digital zoom. Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station also mentioned a 5200mAh battery and 100W fast charging. Since both the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro had the same 5000mAh battery, we can assume both new models will get the battery upgrade to 5200mAh.

Currently, there's no news of these two phones launching outside of China. But we'll keep an eye out for any updates, so stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
