Late last month, reports said the Honor Magic V Flip would launch this month. Well, the company confirmed the launch date recently. The Magic V Flip will be unveiled in China on 13 June 2024. But what can we expect from it? Here are some details.

The Honor Magic V Flip is a clamshell-style foldable smartphone, so it features a main and cover display. As mentioned before, its cover display will be quite large. Based on images from the Honor China website, it will cover half of the back when folded. Also, we can see that it's available in three colours: Iris Black, Champagne Pink and Camilla White. The main display also seems large, with very narrow bezels for a more immersive view.

Although Honor didn't share the full specs and features of the phone. It's confirmed to have a chipset with 5G support and 12GB of RAM. There are three configurations for storage - 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. In addition, the Magic V Flip features a 50MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilisation. A secondary camera (most likely ultra-wide) and an LED flash can also be found at the back. Another big selling point is its 4500mAh battery, which is very large for a clamshell foldable phone.

There is no local launch date yet, but we hope to see the Honor Magic V Flip in Malaysia sometime in the following weeks. We'll look out for any updates on that, so stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
