Honor Magic8 Ultra details out

Yesterday, Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station revealed some tech specs of "a certain factory's top-end flagship". It's believed the source is referring to the Honor Magic8 Ultra, making it the first Ultra variant in the Honor Magic series. Anyway, the phone will allegedly come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 6.71-inch LTPO AMOLED curved display, and a 50MP OmniVision OV50R main camera.

The Ultra model will also have 3D face recognition, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a new telephoto camera. There were no details of the telephoto camera, but Honor could use Sony's new 200MP LYT-910 sensor. In addition, DCS claimed that the phone will have a battery capacity of over 7000mAh. Again, no exact number was given, but it should be around 7500mAh, considering the size of the phone.

The launch date of the Honor Magic8 Ultra is another unknown. However, sources suggest it could be in January 2026. We won't know till there's an official announcement, so look out for that here at TechNave.com.
