The Honor Magic7 series was launched on 30 October 2024, which is barely 6 months ago. But that's Honor is already preparing its next generation. Sources claim that Honor has plans to add a new model to the Magic8 series.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Honor Magic8 series will have three models - Honor Magic8, Honor Magic8 Pro, and Honor Magic8 Mini. The new addition to the series is the Mini, which is expected to have a 6.3-inch display and a Dimensity 9500 chipset. As for the standard and Pro models, both will sport a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chipset. However, the Magic8 Pro will have a larger 6.7-inch display, compared to the Magic8's 6.58-inch screen.

Interestingly, the Dimensity 9400 itself is quite a new chipset, having launched in January 2025. The Dimensity 9500 will also be a flagship mobile chipset expected to debut in a new device in Q2 or Q3 2025. Incidentally, the next Snapdragon Summit that will likely see the release of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 is scheduled for 23 September 2025 (also Q3 2025). Therefore, the Honor Magic8 series could launch around that time window.

The Honor Magic series has been impressive over the years, so we're hoping to see more improvements with the Honor Magic8 series when it launches. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
