For those who want a gaming tablet, a new option was made available last night. The Honor Pad GT Pro was quietly released in China yesterday, becoming the latest flagship-class tablet with an affordable price. Let's see what it has to offer.

As mentioned, the Honor Pad GT Pro is a flagship-class tablet with some impressive hardware. It features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM, so it can handle any games you throw at it. And with 512GB of storage, you won't have to worry about running out of space for your games that easily. In addition, the Pad GT Pro has a large 10050mAh battery for longer gaming sessions. A huge 40000 mm2 sized heatsink helps keep the tablet cool when gaming.

On the front, the Honor Pad GT Pro also packs a large 12.3-inch OLED display. This 1920x3000 resolution OLED screen has a high 144Hz refresh rate, so scrolling websites and playing games will always feel smooth. Moreover, eight stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio support deliver the audio quality to match your gaming experience.

Of course, Honor had to make some reasonable compromises to achieve its target price tag. The Honor Pad GT Pro only has a 13MP main camera and a 9MP front camera, as cameras are typically not the priority with tablets. Also, the 66W wired charging is decent but isn't that fast by today's standard.

The Honor Pad GT Pro is now available in China in Moon Shadow White, Star Black, and GT Blue. The base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs CNY2499 (~RM1510), making it pretty affordable for what it offers. Currently, we have no news on whether it will be available in Malaysia.
