The Honor Pad GT Pro last year was a solid gaming tablet for its price. It was followed by the Honor Pad GT, which had an even more affordable price. Now, Honor has announced the Honor Pad GT2 Pro. Below are some details of the new Honor gaming tablet.

Tech specs and features

The Honor Pad GT2 Pro houses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and has multiple memory configurations. Two of them offer 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage. The third variant has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, followed by the fourth with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. A sizable 10100mAh ensures that it can play games and marathon TV series for many hours.

Speaking of entertainment, the Honor Pad GT2's display has been upgraded. Although it has the same 3K resolution (3000x1920px), the size is now 12.3-inch and the refresh rate is 165Hz. However, the new model's display is an IPS panel instead of OLED, which means colours and contrast won't be as good. The Honor Pad GT2 Pro also has a graphene cooling sheet for improved cooling and 8x IMAX Enhanced speakers for more immersive audio.

Price and availability

The Honor Pad GT2 Pro will launch in China on 28 July 2025. Unfortunately, the Pad GT Pro and Pad GT were not launched in Malaysia, so this new one might not make it here either. But if you're interested, you can expect to get one for the following prices.
