The year's coming to an end, but that doesn't seem to have stopped Chinese brands from releasing new phones. Besides the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which was launched recently, Honor has unveiled a brand-new series in China - the Honor Win series. Below are some details of the two new devices.
Tech specs and features
The Honor Win series is Honor's new gaming phone series. There are two models available at launch, the Honor Win and Honor Win RT. Both phones have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM inside, ensuring the best possible performance for mobile games. For storage, you get the option of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
As gaming phones, the two phones also have high-end displays. According to Honor, the Honor Win and Honor Win RT feature a 6.83-inch OLED display. It max resolution is relatively modest at 1272x2800 pixels, but it offers an incredible 185Hz refresh rate, 6000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and a DCI-P3 colour gamut.
On top of that, both phones have excellent features that make them worthy gaming phones. First, they have a massive 10000mAh battery to keep up with long hours of mobile gaming. Secondly, the Honor Win and Honor Win RT have an active-cooling fan placed under the rear camera module. It spins up to 25000 RPM, which promises to lower temperatures by up to 7°C.
Speaking of cameras, the Honor Win has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. On the other hand, the Honor Win RT only has the 50MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera. Both phones also have a 50MP front camera, so the key difference is the telephoto camera.

The Honor Win and Honor Win RT both come in black, white, and blue colours. As for prices, check the list below.
