Honor X10 Max and X10 Pro could be launching soon, expected to feature Dimensity 800 chipset

Just a few weeks ago, Honor launched the X10 smartphone in China, offering a new mid-range with rather good value. But it seems like that's not the end, as the company could look to expand the series with new models. Specifically, sources have claimed that there will be an Honor X10 Max and Honor X10 Pro on the way.

According to a leak on Weibo, Honor will launch the 7.09-inch Honor X10 Max soon. While the Honor X10 Pro will allegedly have a 'normal' size, which probably means the same size as the Honor X10, but will only be available later in the year. The exact launch window was not specified, but the leakster speculated that the launch could be in July 2020.

But why would the Honor X10 Pro get a delayed launch? Some believe that this is because of supply issues for components due to the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting manufacturing output. Another leakster claimed that Honor initially planned to use the Dimensity 1000+ chipset for the X10 Max, but ran out of stock and had to settle for the Dimensity 800 chipset instead.

As usual, we can't confirm if these leaks are accurate so take it with a grain of salt. With that said, would you be interested in any of the Honor X10 series devices if it launches in Malaysia? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
