When Apple's iPad first appeared back in 2010, many companies wanted to make something that was just as popular. While tablets are more niche today, there are still many who find it useful for reading and watching videos. Honor is going to be launching a new tablet soon and it's going to be a 5G tablet, which should be a rather appealing choice for those who want a device for video streaming.

Honor has confirmed that it will be launching its Honor V6 tablet on 18 May 2020. This tablet has a strong focus on wireless connection speed, as it comes with not only 5G but also Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Honor hasn't provided any further details (yet), but we can make a few guesses as to what chipset it has. If it's using a 5G Kirin chipset, it'll most likely be either the Kirin 820, Kirin 985, or Kirin 990 5G chipset, depending on where Honor wants to position this product. Personally, I'm leaning towards the Kirin 820 since it'll make the device more accessible to users.

Besides the tablet, Honor is also expected to announce a new laptop, Honor Vision Pro TV, and likely other unrevealed products. The new laptop is supposed to be the MagicBook Pro, a Windows 10 PC that we think is meant to be a workstation. The laptop could likely have an Intel Core i7-10510U CPU, an Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU, and at least 8GB of RAM.

Of course, a lot of the above are speculations and we can't confirm if they're accurate. Having said that, would you be interested in a 5G tablet like the Honor V6?
