As AMD continues to gain market recognition, more companies are producing variants of laptops with AMD CPUs. We've seen this with the Honor MagicBook 14, which just recently launched a variant sporting the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU. Now, the company could be looking to launch more AMD variants for the rest of its MagicBook laptops.

According to leaker Changan Digital, another Honor MagicBook laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen Mobile CPU is going to launch on 16 July 2020. The image he posted doesn't tell us much, but based on the positioning of the ports of the device, we believe that it could be the MagicBook Pro. This is meant to be a more powerful variant of the MagicBook and was first unveiled in May 2020 with Intel CPUs.

In terms of tech specs, this variant could come with an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU, an Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a large 512GB of SSD storage. It should also have a 16.1-inch Full HD display that has 100% sRGB colour gamut and an impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio. As for I/O ports, it has three USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

We're fairly certain than an AMD variant of the MagicBook Pro will eventually launch, but the given date is unconfirmed so we'll have to see. With that said, what are your thoughts on this?
