Most of us are familiar with SIM cards, but did you know there's a tech called eSIM? With eSIM (Embedded SIM), network providers can offer mobile plans without physical SIM cards. Now, Hotlink is offering eSIM service for both postpaid and prepaid customers.

As mentioned, an advantage of eSIM is it lets you use mobile plans without physical SIM cards. It's also considered more secure. For example, you can quickly suspend the eSIM to prevent unauthorised use of your device if it gets stolen. eSIM also allows you to have multiple plans on one device. For your info, many smartphones can support up to two SIMs. But eSIM lets you have up to 8 numbers on one device.

To activate your eSIM on Hotlink, you must first have an eSIM-compatible device. You can refer to the Hotlink eSIM site for the list of supported devices. Refer to the steps below to activate your Hotlink eSIM:

  1. Download and open the Hotlink app
  2. Tap "I am New to Hotlink" and select "Buy eSIM"
  3. Follow the given instructions and complete the registration process
  4. Wait a few minutes for your eSIM profile to be ready
  5. Download your new eSIM profile and start using it
