Hari Raya Aidilfitri is just around the corner. Ahead of the celebrations, many users in Malaysia are turning to creative tools on their phones to send digital greetings. One simple method available on Samsung Galaxy smartphones is using the built-in sticker feature to combine a personal photo with an image. Read on to find out how.

Who can use it?

Available for Samsung Galaxy devices that can use Galaxy AI to create stickers in the Samsung Photo Gallery, all you need for this is a photo of your family or couple and a background image. Just in case you don't have a background image on hand we've also included a generative AI prompt for a photo frame that you can customise.

Users can download or generate an AI art background and then use the sticker tool to insert a photo. This results in a custom Hari Raya greeting that can be shared through messaging apps or on social media. Most Samsung Galaxy phones released in the last two to three years are equipped with these editing tools under Samsung's One UI and Samsung Galaxy AI.

How to generate an AI background image:

While you can use the following prompt with ChatGPT, Bing, Microsoft CoPilot, Gemini and others, we used ChatGPT. Here's the prompt:

Create an image of a large flat side photo frame for hari raya aidilfitri with added digital technology themes using orange and white colours, accurately show text "SELAMAT HARI RAYA" and "AIDILFITRI" only once, vibrant colours, intricate details, super wide view

You can easily swap out the "orange and white" colours for any colours which you like and you can also change out the "digital technology" themes for whatever you want. The text may be a bit iffy sometimes, so keep trying (type "try again") until it looks alright. You can change the size from super wide to portrait and square as well.
