Looking to follow in the footsteps of other incremental smartphone upgrades, Huawei have since released the Huawei Ascend P6S which is a version of the Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone that uses Huawei's new and improved quad-core K3V2+ processor. The new processor features ARM Cortex A9 cores along with a faster Mali-450 GPU. The Huawei Ascend P6S managed to a get an AnTuTu score of 22270 which is quite impressive but nowhere near what the top Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 smartphones can achieve. While the processor is said to be running at 1.6GHz, Huawei have said that the new H3V2+ processor should help decrease energy consumption down to 50% while delivering 50% to 80% better performance.
