About a week or so after the Huawei Ascend P7 Mini was announced, Huawei has announced the main Huawei Ascend P7 smartphone. While it isn't gunning for the World's thinnest smartphone record anymore the Huawei Ascend P7 is still fairly thin at 6.5mm and goes for a chrome sided narrow slate look that is quite classy. With both the front and back protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, it looks a lot like the latest batch of Sony Xperia smartphones, at least in terms of styling. Tech specs for the Huawei Ascend P7 are quite high-end which you can see below:

- Mali 450 graphics
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB storage + up to 32GB microSD
- 5-inch LCD display (1920 x 1080 pixel, 445ppi)
- 13MP rear camera (LED Flash, Sony Sensor, f2.0 aperture, 5-element lens) + 8MP front camera (5-element lens)
- supports 4G LTE, HSPA+, WiFi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0

- 2500 mAh

In terms of colours, the Huawei Ascend P7 will be available in black, pink and white for a price tage of around $626 (RM2026). No news on Malaysia release dates or pricing but we should see it in the country from Huawei Malaysia soon.
