Fans of smart bands will have something new to look forward to soon. Huawei has announced that it will most likely unveil the Huawei Band 8 in June 2023. The new model promises a lightweight design, comprehensive health monitoring, and more.
In addition, Huawei Malaysia has confirmed that interested Malaysians can pre-order the Huawei Band 8 from 1 to 5 June 2023. During the pre-order campaign, you can purchase the new smart band for RM169. That's an RM50 discount, which you can get via a voucher on Huawei Malaysia's official Lazada store. Based on the dates, we can safely assume the first shipping date to be as early as 6 June 2023.
Anyway, the Huawei Band 8 comes with the same 1.47-inch AMOLED screen as the Huawei Band 7. However, it has a smaller and thinner body (43.45×24.54×8.99mm), resulting in a higher 65% screen-to-body ratio. It's also slightly lighter at 14g (vs 16g). In terms of features, the smart band will have TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 3.0 sleep monitoring, 100 workout modes, and 10000 watch faces.
