So apparently, Huawei CEO and founder, Ren Zhengfei had an interview with CNN Business. Obviously, one of the questions would be the Google Mobile Services and in a bold statement, Ren replied confidently that Huawei can still become the world's number one smartphone brand without Google's software and application.

"I don't think this will be a problem," said Ren, but he did add on that this will take time. To add on, he also told CNN Business that "Google had neither been denied nor had permission" which sparks curiosity, but Google had no responded to their request for comment.

"We will have to resort to alternatives. If those alternatives become mature, I think it'll become less likely to switch back to previous versions," Ren continued, about should Huawei won't be able to work with US suppliers in the future.

It was only last week, when Microsoft was granted a license by the US Department of Commerce to continue with Huawei. Despite the shaky turmoils over the few months, Huawei's business wasn't doing so bad as their revenue increased by 24% in the first 9 months of 2019. It's also noted that the China market helped a lot this year as well.
