These days, you can capture videos with all kinds of equipment and that includes something as simple as a smartphone. To encourage its smartphone users to such creative endeavours, Huawei has announced the Huawei Film Awards and its grand prize of USD20000 (~RM81860).
The Huawei Film Awards is opened to all short films captured using a Huawei smartphone. It will come with prizes for multiple categories, including "APAC Best Film" with its massive grand prize. Huawei has already begun to accept submissions and will continue to do so until 25th February 2020 at 11.59 pm (GMT+8). You can learn more about the competition's terms and conditions here.
