As open-ear earbuds become more popular, Huawei Malaysia has presented its own FreeArc wireless open-ear earbuds device. It is priced at RM599 and will be available in Black, Grey, and Green.
Designed for comfort and stability, these earbuds earbuds stay securely in your ears thanks to the ear hooks. It is also Huawei's first earbuds to be IP57 water-resistance certified, making it perfect for any sports or outdoor adventures. Huawei said the ergonomics research team analysed over 10,000 auricle curves and utilised a 3D ear database to create the FreeArc.
In terms of connectivity, the FreeArc is said to have stable connections over long distances with a 400-meter circumference to a 100-square-meter office. On top of that, the earbuds are equipped with a dual-mic setup to enhance sound pickup. Triple-call noise cancellation is also available to block ambient noise during calls.
Also equipped with a 17x12 mm driver unit, the FreeArc offers a symmetrical acoustic structure, dynamic bass algorithm, and Adaptive Equal-loudness Algorithm for detailed audio performance. There is also a Reverse Sound Waves System which ensures clear, private audio by directing the sound directly to the ear canal.
Pre-orders for the Huawei FreeArc are open now until 24 March 2025.
