Huawei Malaysia has officially announced the FreeBuds 6, the latest edition of its open-fit wireless earbuds. These new pair of earbuds will be available in Malaysia starting 24 June 2025, priced at RM699.
Designed for Comfort and Quality
Just like the predecessors, the FreeBuds 6 continued the droplet-style design but is now refined. It is now sleeker and 12% smaller, weighing just 4.9g per bud. Combined with ergonomic shaping based on millions of ear scans, they promise a snug yet airy fit, ideal for music, calls, and everything in between.
Huawei said it is stepping up the audio game, too. Inside, there is a pair of rare dual-driver setups in an open-fit design, with an upgraded 11mm dual-magnetic driver and Huawei’s Bass Turbo 2.0 tech. If paired with a Huawei Mate X6, lossless audio streaming up to 2.3Mbps via L2HC 4.0 codec will be unlocked, delivering high-res, 48kHz/24-bit audio.
Additionally, the earbuds feature dual-mic silent call tech and ANC that cuts through wind speeds up to 8m/s. Users can also get clean, crisp calls without the usual background clutter thanks to the technology.
Smarter Controls and Better Battery Life
Gesture control gets a big upgrade too. You can now nod your head to accept calls or shake to reject. Add to that dual-device pairing support, and you've got seamless switching between devices like phones, tablets, or laptops with no need to dive into Bluetooth settings.
In terms of battery life, the FreeBuds 6 can get up to 36 hours of music playback, which is six hours more than the last generation. A quick five-minute charge gets you 2.5 hours of listening time.

Available in Purple, White, and Black, early buyers can also snag freebies worth up to RM327, including exclusive accessories, at HUAWEI Experience Stores, the Huawei Official Website, and online platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and the TikTok Shop.
