Huawei Honor 5A and 5A Plus to be released on 12 June in China

Just a few hours ago, Huawei Honor just released a new teaser image on their official Weibo page announcing a new smartphone on the way in China - The Honor 5A, which will be revealed on 12 June 2016. And it's not alone, the Honor 5A Plus will also be present on that day. Below is the specifications according to TENAA:

  • 5.5-inch 720p display
  • 8.45mm body thick
  • 13MP rear camera + 8MP front shooter
  • 3000mAh battery

It's interesting to note that both devices have a different design on the back, with the 5A Plus's camera placed at the corner, while the 5A's camera is in the middle. Both devices are aimed at the lower-end of the market, so it's expected to price at 699 Yuan (around RM432). Also, do note that the tech-specs above aren't complete since the OS is unknown and we don't know whether if it has dual SIM slot too.
