Huawei Honor Magic revealed in China with screen curved at all sides and corners
Today, Huawei Honor Magic was announced by Huawei and we have to say, it's probably the most beautiful phone ever crafted, coming in a special design that's curved on not two, but all eight sides. The full tech-specs list aren't fully specified yet, but here's what we know about the official specifications:
- Kirin 950 Processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB storage (expandable memory available)
- 5.09-inches with 2K resolution
- Dual 12MP rear cameras (dual LED flash) / (front camera specs to be updated)
- Features Magic Touch home button, dual SIM slot, fast charging technology, fingerprint sensor
- ??? OS (to be updated)
- ??? mAh battery (to be updated)
Inspired by the deep vast colour of space, the display is completely deep in black and the surrounding body is in rose gold. With much curve design going on, the dual SIM card slot, speakers, microphone and charging port had to be moved to the bottom.
It seems that only the right side has the power and volume buttons
Headphone jack, dual SIM slot, charging port and speaker at the bottom
Huawei also boasts the cameras on the Honor Magic are flat, and even managed to insert the infrared camera, ambient light sensor, and infrared LED light on the front. It's almost impossible to spot them because of the UV coating on the phone. What's more, the charging technology can charge the phone up to 90% in just 30 minutes of charging, we think they aren't bluffing with this one since the Mate 9 can charge as fast as well.
Besides that, there's also a new user-friendly software experience called Magic Live (click the first source below if you want to know more about Magic Live) and a new Magic Touch home button, which functions as multiple gestures. For example, single click for home, double click for multi-task panel, and swiping for back.
The Huawei Honor Magic is priced at 3699 Yuan (around RM2381), and it will be on sale via Vmall, JD.com, Lynx and Suning from 8PM on today.
