Huawei Malaysia and MCMC introduce cashless technology service to Kolej Vokasional Gombak

Today, Huawei Malaysia and MCMC have officially announced their collaboration together and launched a Digital Program showcasing a sandbox of digital service such as mobile cashless services at Kolej Vokasional Gombak (KVG). With this in mind, student of KVG to learn how to purchase food and retail items from the school cooperative and retail management outlet.

During the launch, Chief Communication and Digital Ecosystem Officer of MCMC, Dato' Mohd Ali Hanafiah Mohd Yunus said:

"Our collaboration today is a good starting point to provide exposure and digital trends and standards. As this sandbox is taken by place at KVG, we applaud the inclusivity that Huawei is showing in giving the students from all kinds of backgrounds and technology skills a chance to immerse themselves in the lifestyle of the future."

Meanwhile, Vice President of Huawei Malaysia, Foo Fang Yong praised KVG for having the foresight to participate in this pilot project. He is delighted to work with the government through MCMC to promote a digital lifestyle in Malaysia.

The platform introduces an easy-to-use and solution to help students making cashless mobile payment using they mobile devices, such as learning to activate they login ID and getting e-coupons for transaction. The digital ID will ensure safe and secure access at all times.
