We have been waiting for a long time about the announcement of the Huawei Mate 40 series. Finally, Huawei Malaysia just confirmed that only the Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G will arrive here on 12 December 2020 (10.08 AM, weird timing) for the price of RM4299.
According to the website, the flagship phone will come with gifts bundled together that are worth up to RM3300. The gifts include a Huawei Sound X speaker worth RM1299 and customers can redeem it from the Member Center on 18 to 20 December 2020. On top of that, Huawei Malaysia will also offer several app services for free such as Huawei Video and Dim Sum VIP subscription (1 month and 3 months) free access, free 50GB Cloud Storage for a year, as well as for Huawei Book, Huawei Pay, Member Center rewards, AppGallery rewards and a Christmas Bundle.
To refresh your memory, the Mate 40 Pro 5G features a Kirin 9000 chipset, 50MP triple rear camera module, 4400mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless Huawei SuperCharge technology and more. You should also be aware that it still lacks Google Mobile Services, but the AppGallery has added a lot of missing apps since last year so make sure you check with them on app availability first.
