After a long time, Huawei Malaysia has finally unveiled the Mate 50 series for the Malaysian market. With a starting price of RM3699, the pre-order begins today and until the 11th of November. Early birds who opt to pre-order will also receive freebies worth up to RM1450.
The pre-order for the Mate 50 series is available across all HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI’s Official Website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada and authorised HUAWEI Partner Stores (SenHeng, senQ, Harvey Norman and Urban Republic). The base model, Mate 50 (8GB + 256GB) is priced at RM3699, whereas the Mate 50 Pro in 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB (Orange Vegan Leather) is priced at RM4499 and RM5299 respectively.
According to Huawei Malaysia, the freebies include a free Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro, 3 months screen warranty, as well as HMS exclusive rewards. Early birds can also enjoy up to 24 months of an instalment plan (0%) with Maybank, UOB, CIMB, HLB, RHB, Atome, and Paylater*. Besides, consumers can trade up to the Mate 50 series with up to 5 old devices including smartphones, tablets and smartwatches.
Just to recap the tech specs and features, all the Mate 50 series models are powered by the 4G variant of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Moreover, you can expect the 120Hz 6.7-inch OLED displays, up to 4700mAh battery pack with a 66W wired SuperCharge technology, and the much marketed XMAGE 13MP (ultrawide) + 64MP (periscope) + 50MP (super-optical variable) triple rear camera setup.
