We have written some rumoured news about the Huawei Mate X2 a couple of times already, so in this latest one - the foldable device was spotted on 3C certification. This could mean that the Mate X2 might be launching soon on 16 November 2020.

Although nothing is confirmed yet, sources are also speculating a January release because Samsung might also unveil the Galaxy S21 series. In a way, Huawei might be trying to keep competition with the Korean tech company particularly on their Galaxy Z Fold series which could appear as well. On top of that, the 3C certification also unveiled a bunch of tech specs which seems plausible.

According to the list, the Mate X2 could just feature a Kirin 990 chipset but we think it should be the latest Kirin 9000 just like the Mate 40 series. The memory capacity is listed 8GB + 512GB, alongside a 6.7-inch display, a 48MP + 16MP + 8MP triple rear camera, a 10MP + 8MP dual front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology. Price-wise, it's rumoured to be 192,900 Indian Rupees (~RM10,688).

Until now, Huawei Malaysia still has not given us any date on the Mate 40 series in Malaysia. Guess we will just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
