Today, Huawei Malaysia held its APAC Autumn Launching Event and introduced three new products which are the Huawei MateBook 14s, nova 9 phone and the Watch GT 3 Series smartwatch. At the moment, only the laptop has a price and availability whereas the nova 9 and Watch GT 3 Series will come to Malaysia at a later date.
For starters, the MateBook 14s cost RM4999 and it will be available for pre-order from 28 October until 6 November 2021 on the HUAWEI Store Online, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee and HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada. Alternatively, customers can also purchase it easily through the company's official app, My HUAWEI App. The pre-order includes freebies worth up to RM 1,366 including a FreeBuds Pro, a Backpack, a Huawei Bluetooth Mouse and a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365.
To refresh your memory with the tech specs, the MateBook 14s features a 2.5K FullView Display supporting a 90 Hz Refresh Rate with an aspect ratio of 3:2. Powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core H-series processor and Iris Xe Graphics card, it has a performance mode that will boost the CPU TDP to 45W. The laptop also uses a 60Wh battery and a 90W power adapter.
As for the nova 9, it's basically a "clone" of the recently announced HONOR 50 featuring a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz Refresh Rate, Snapdragon 778G chipset, a 4300mAh battery pack and even the design (with the exception of the 50MP Ultra Vision camera). Finally, the Watch GT 3 Series features an AI Running Coach and more than 100 workout modes for the user. It also sports a dual-band GNSS to pin the user's location, an improved Truseen 5.0+ heart rate monitor, SpO2 monitoring, skin temperature detection and last up to two weeks of battery life.
Huawei Malaysia also announced its upcoming 10th Anniversary of the Huawei Experience Store so expect some great promotions on selected Huawei products. It is said that customers will receive an exclusive Gift Box worth RM99, packed with Multi-Purpose Spray & Wipe, Notebook and a retractable USB Carry Case with purchase of selected HUAWEI products. Other than that, consumers can also stand a chance to win an amazing lucky draw prize, while stocks last.
