Not to be confused with the Huawei MatePad 11.5"S PaperMatte Edition and MatePad 11.5", this is another tablet variant by Huawei Malaysia of the same series. Promptly called the MatePad 11.5″S, it is now available in Malaysia at RM1,799.
The pre-orders for the MatePad 11.5″S are now open until 22 August 2024. Then on 23 August, the tablet can be purchased directly through the Huawei official website with a freebie worth RM699 until 31 August 2024. As you can see in the promotional image, the gift is a M-Pencil (3rd Gen) powered by NearLink technology.
To briefly go through the tech specs, the MatePad 11.5″S' main highlight will be the 8,800mAh battery pack which can easily be used for the whole day. The tablet is sleek too, measuring 8.0mm thickness and has an 11.5-inch HD FullView Display with 2,800 x 1,840 pixels resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The memory configuration is just 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
In terms of features, Huawei integrated a few productivity apps like Huawei Notes, WPS Office, SuperHub and Huawei Print. For those who like multitasking, there's also App Multiplier Mode which allows two app screens displayed in one window or display up to four app screens at the same time. Finally, the first-ever Huawei's own painting app - GoPaint App offers a professional drawing space for artists.
On the other hand, it's also worth noting that the updated Histen 9.0 audio system by Huawei for the best sound experience possible and it supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
